Ive loved this band for a good 7+ years now, absoloutley phenominal band, hope their next album is as good as previous!


I did this in late 2006 and felt that it should have been posted long before now!

It took me about 7 hours to do, done over the space of 3 nights in bed when i couldnt sleep.. had a rough print out of the photo that has a green background and drew this from it.

Im actually seriously pleased with how it turned out. I struggled with his face because Billie has such strong expression, however i kept changing little bits every time i looked back in my sketchbook at the picture until i was happy with it... i think its okay now.

Done with a mechanical pencil, and black pastel

If you look carefully at the top right corner, you will see a figure '8' which is the page number it was in my sketchbook lol and you can also just see to the right of billie some funny squiggles, thats where i had written 'Billie Joe' in fancy writing, however if you want it in a print, let me know and i will try to remove them for you xx

Once ive got my monitor fixed, i will lighten the piece up if it is a bit dark [my monitor is very dark atm so ive left the brightness as it was when i scanned it about half an hour ago]
